Minutes of the East River Amateur Radio Club
April 01, 2002 meeting.

     The March meeting of the ERARC was opened at 0700pm by Bob Frazier
WB8NRK, Treasurer, in the absence of President George Dietrich kf4ygl. Gary
Kadar N8GK, Vice President absent also. There were 23 members and guests in
attendance.
     The treasurer report was given.  Bob
mentioned that 55 tables had been sold from our inventory, stored at
Warlick's Furniture.  Future Tech bought 20, someone else 20 and the
remainder were sold individually.

New business: some
     Don Anderson WD8OOR and Jay Belt K8CTI gave in informative
demonstration on the new ILINK using block diagrams to explain what's
happening and what to expect when online.  First contact was Bill Sowers
K8WBS in Atlanta, GA.  Disconnected and Bill then contacted the Bluefield
repeater back. The 'NEW' 440 repeater (442.45) is now linked into the ILINK
system.
     Jerry Conley  won the 50/50.
     The meeting was over at 0808pm.
